Justin M. Kelly was born in Stockton, California, where he lived until moving to South Dakota as an adult.
Justin has been a writer all his life, penning his first poem at the age of Seven. While it wasn’t a masterpiece, it sparked in him a lifelong love of the written word. As did his mother’s nightly ritual of reading to him every night at bedtime until the day he snatched the book from her because she was going too slow.
Justin has written many short stories and is currently working on two separate novels in different genres.
Justin has also worked as a nonfiction freelance writer. Most recently he wrote several articles for rideapart.com. Some samples can be found here.
Justin is currently working for a non-profit organization teaching literacy to children K-5.
